This is an incredible, life-changing course designed to prepare you to become an authentic and confident yoga teacher within the Australian or international yoga community. The training integrates a comprehensive view of yoga practice, theory, and business, so you feel confident sharing what you love with your students and community.

Sarah Metzger
Senior Lead Teacher, Founder of (Here) Yoga - 500hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher
With a degree in Elementary education, Sarah brings her passion for teaching into yoga as a way to tap into the curiosity, awareness and compassion within each of us.
Sarah believes the beauty of yoga is the physical and mental challenge that relieves stress and helps you grow into the best version of yourself, and as a teacher you’re able to share that experience with your students.
Sarah’s classes are nurturing and dynamic with a focus on mindful movement. With an aim of feeling good and moving with love & lightness, Sarah’s classes are designed to invite freedom into the body and mind, like a guided moving meditation. Sarah offers a fluid, embodied experience with lots of heart and depth.

Sarah co created our industry leading Teacher training and her passion for teaching trainings stems from a life-long enquiry into the human experience and a quest to understand how to live with more peace and ease. Sarah has a gift of breaking down complexity and making sense of traditional philosophy in an easy-to-apply, modern way.

Amelia James
Teacher & (Here) Yoga Owner - 300hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher
Amelia began her yoga journey in Sydney 11 years ago as a way to get fit and manage the demands of corporate life. What started as a personal practice soon evolved into a deep passion for yoga, leading her to complete her Yoga Teacher Training with (Here) Yoga and go on to teach in studios across Melbourne.

Since then, Amelia has facilitated numerous (Here) Yoga 200-hour Teacher Trainings and finds nothing more rewarding than supporting students through this transformative journey of learning, community, friendship, and self-discovery.

Having experienced the life-changing benefits of a consistent yoga practice, self-study, and community, Amelia is deeply committed to helping students find their own authentic flow, both on and off the mat. With a passion for modern yoga practices and supporting students to progress with confidence, Amelia brings a grounded, practical, and heartfelt approach to teaching.

As the owner of our two Here Yoga studios, Amelia is uniquely positioned to support students beyond the mat, guiding and mentoring those who wish to step into the world as working yoga teachers through this training.

Senior Guest Teachers
During this training, one of our weekends in Melbourne will be facilitated by senior yoga teachers Rach and Heidi where you will delve deeply into the practice, history and philosophy of Bhakti Yoga.

Rach Mellican
iIs a seasoned yoga teacher whose classes masterfully integrate dynamic movement, strength, and fluidity, all grounded in her profound dedication to energetic alignment. Rooted in a profound understanding of energetics, she invites students into a practice that nurtures both safety and stability within the physical body, serving as a vessel for deeper self-discovery and inner transformation.
Heidi has a unique and powerful way of weaving mythology, philosophy and mantra into her public classes, workshops, retreats and training, making it relatable to modern minds and hearts. She has developed a style of teaching that is truly unique, emotive, memorable and meaningful.​
Heidi Mellican
Creates a transformative space where students are invited to explore deeply, gain confidence & wisdom, and uncover the authenticity of the Acharya within.
With a deep reverence for the traditions of Bhakti and Jnana Yoga, she skillfully bridges ancient spiritual teachings with the contemporary world, making the practice both accessible and open to every unique interpretation. Having trained with master teachers Sarah Powers, Rod Stryker, Lorin Roche, Christopher Hareesh Wallis, not to mention countless mentors over many years of practice and teaching yoga, Heidi has a wealth of embodied knowledge and wisdom to share.
